An apple a day

Ever since I knitted up the lemon hat I have been dying to do a bright red apple.  I am a real autumn person and I absolutely love all the weird and wonderful rare apple varieties you can sometimes find in little farm shops etc.  There is a lovely organic co-operative in Manchester called the Unicorn Grocery that stocks lots of different varieties of British apples and whenever I am nearby I treat myself to a big mixed bag and then try to hide them from the other fruit munchers in my house!

Ice Cream Hat

Ok so we still haven't seen much sun yet this year but this hat is definitely giving me an ice cream feeling.  Its knit in lovely Sirdar Snuggly Baby Crofter and is super soft and squooshy!

This one is a toddler size, just a bit too small for Miss E otherwise I think it wouldn't have actually made it into the shop as it has plenty of pink in it ;)

Summer Berries

Counting down the days until our local pick your own farm opens!  In the meantime here are some more lovely action shots, am so so pleased with them.  Big thanks to the lovely photographer, parents and of course scrummy babies who took part :)

Life's Lemons

Feels a bit like life has been giving me a few lemons recently.

Here is my alternative to making lemonade.  My first lemon hat sold the day I listed it so that brought another smile to my face as well.
