Crochet Coral

We were lucky enough to be able to see this amazing crochet coral reef during a visit to Manchester Museum.  Its part of Coral Something Rich and Strange.  I left wanting to make my own but I am not sure my tiny terraced house would have space for a coral reef.  I have found some links in case anyone else feels inspired.  Unfortunately I have been too busy to make any yet but if you do please share your pictures as I would love to see how they come out! Den Making

A lovely fresh wintery morning was spent building and playing in dens.  I loved dens as a child and made many in my garden.  Our garden is so small that the children's den making has to occur out and about!

In between times

Wow what a busy time!  The run up to Christmas is a busy time for all parents and this year was especially busy with knitting on top of all the normal family preparations.  I managed to get everything bought wrapped and cooked and of course all my orders knitted and posted out in time but it did mean some very late nights and early starts.  Now in this inbetween time I am catching up on some much needed r and r with the family as well as planning new projects for next year in the shop.
